[Letter to Clarence Ousley, July 12, 1909]

Letter to Clarence Ousley stating the belief that the state of Texas should encourage the construction of railroads. The writer believes the railway would benefit stock and bondholders as well as the citizens of the towns through which it passes. It is also stated than an impartial third party should judge whether a route is constructed, rather than the people of the towns or the engineers and that the board of directors should be made up of those that are informed of the conditions of the land.
