Video recording from The Black Academy of Arts and Letters recorded during an on site performance of the First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park in July of 1989. The footage was taken from the second story of the church overlooking the main floor of pews and focuses on the gospel choir located on a raised area behind the pulpit. The choir sings hymns "Every Day Is A Day of Thanksgiving", "Here's Nothing You Can't Do" and "Thank You Jesus".

Video footage from The Black Academy of Arts and Letters recorded during a celebrity basketball fundraiser hosted by the Junior Black Academy of Arts and Letters on June 17, 1989, at the Dallas Convention Center Arena. The event, "Juneteenth Superhoops", featured the Hollywood Hoopsters and the K-104 "All-Stars". The footage shows cut clips of the game with various shots showing the audience, scoreboard, bands, and cheerleaders. At the 12:45 mark, the footage switches to president Ronald Reagan giving a speech followed by election watch footage for the Republican National Convention.
