[Leica Manual and Leica camera]

[Byrd Williams III ripped notebook and notes]

The photo is either a daguerreotype or an ambrotype of a woman holding a baby. The wooden case has a red plush cushion on the inside of the lid with a pattern cut into it. The photo is surrounded by a golden inlay with a similar design. It is an unknown portrait which was brought back from Texas from Tennessee after the Civil War.
