Military report for the quarterly return of ordnance and ordnance stores for Company F, 1st Regiment, New York Cavalry in Mannsville, New York. The report includes lists of small arms, ammunition, and related equipment with an accounting of items received, issued, and held in storage. This is the third copy of the report, retained by the company.

Quarterly return of ordnance and ordnance stores received, issued, and remaining on hand in Company "F," First Veteran Regiment New York Cavalry, for the second quarter in 1865. The return details the amount of serviceable and unserviceable small arms as well as the accoutrements, equipment, and appendages which corresponded to the small arms. The document also notes who the arms were received from and the person they were issued to during this quarter. The return was created by Capt. Hamilton K. Redway while he as stationed at Camp Piatt in West Virginia. It was signed by Redway on July 1, 1865.

Special orders from Major General Hunter which detail that Farrier W. H. Shepard is to report to Capt. Nelson Hopkins A.Q.M., in Hagerstown, Maryland for duty. Hopkins was part of Company "F," N. Y. Vet. Calvary.

Speech from H.K.Redway's personal papers. The speech details the sentiments that Redway felt at the close of the war as well as the joy he felt at seeing many of the men he served with still beside him in the end.

Circular from the U. S. Bureau of Pensions containing a special notice about persons falsely claiming to be officers of the bureau. The circular seeks to protect persons having business with the bureau against swindling, and warns that genuine special examiners of the bureau do not demand or receive any money.

The report details Montague County Occupation taxes for 1879 and was created by Levi Perryman. The document is faded, and parts of it are difficult to read.

Tax receipt for property taxes in Texas for the year of 1870. The amount of $7.75 was paid by Ziza Moore. This payment was made to the deputy of Collin County, J. M. Fox. The payment was made by Moore on July 21, 1870.

This is a document from the Charles B. Moore Collection. It is a memo from Geo P. Bemis to J. A. Frye discusiing the real estate paper of Lot 10, block one,Madison Square. The documentation that accompanied the memo to Frye included: A Warranty deed from Florence Company to Elizabeth Tuttle, mortgage papers from Elizabeth Tuttle and Peter M. Tuttle to the Conservative S. & L. Association, tax judgement sale receipts from county treasurer in the amount of $11.50, and a receipt from the Conservative S. & L. Association for $900.00 which was dated April 9, 1906. Bemis states that the documentation merits the mortgage cancelled and marked paid.

Envelope from Ziza Moore and Josephus Moore addressed to Charles Moore. The post mark denotes that it was sent from Shelbyville, Tennessee, on July 19, 1864. The envelope originally contained the letter CBM_2079-018-001.
