Interview with General John Roberts, a Air Force WWII veteran from Arkansas, who served for over twenty years with General Roger Ramey of Denton, Texas. Roberts discusses Ramey's background and his own, Army Air Corps pilot training, the start of the war and assignment under Ramey, changing commands and transition to the B-29, Curtis LeMay, the atomic bomb, postwar work, Ramey's health and death, his relationships with various figures, Douglas MacArthur and Harry Truman, the racial integration of the Air Force, and the Roswell UFO incident. Some additional biographical information about Ramey is provided by Colonel Terry Garland.

Interview with Mary Steele Leon, a secretary for the U. S. Navy during and after World War II. She joined the Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service (WAVES) and was trained as a secretary. Her first assignment was in the office of the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) during World War II. The CNO at the time was Fleet Admiral Ernest J. King. After the war, she served as personal secretary for Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz while he was CNO. She was discharged in 1946.

Thomas discusses joining the Marine Corps in 1940, assignment to Kaneohe Naval Air Station, life and work there, the attack on December 7th, the immediate aftermath, casualties and damage to Kaneohe, leaving the Marines to attempt becoming a naval aviator, and being drafted into the Army as a bomber navigator.

Interview with Kenneth Nine, a Army WWII veteran from Lonaconing, Maryland, who was present at the attack on Pearl Harbor. Nine discusses joining the Army, assignment to the 27th Infantry at Schofield Barracks, alerts, athletics, gambling, events of the attack at Schofield, preparing defenses on Oahu, and later service in the war.

Interview with Pamela Bradbury, a dietician from Cedartown, Georgia. Bradbury was working at the Schofield Barracks hospital on Oahu during the attack on Pearl Harbor; she recounts her education, a hospital internship requiring a year of service for the Army, assignment to Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, conditions and work at the hospital there, the morning of December 7th, care for the wounded, the evening and following day, restrictions on food, the impact on local Japanese, rumors of sabotage and invasion, and her later work in the war.

A pamphlet on the History of Camp Davis, written by David A. Stallman for the 50th Anniversary of the Antiaircraft Artillery School at Camp Davis. It contains the Antiaircraft Artillery School's marching song, the story of Camp Davis from "Birth to Death," Camp Davis as a missile test base, the closing of the camp, and more. Interview with Garlen W. Eslick, a Navy WWII veteran from Milan, Missouri who served aboard the USS Oklahoma (BB-37) when it was sunk at Pearl Harbor. Eslick discusses joining the Navy and basic training, assignment to the Oklahoma, accommodations aboard, the food, the crew, liberty, being bombed and torpedoed, the Oklahoma capsizing, being trapped inside the ship, rescue, work after the attack, and service aboard the Saratoga (CV-3).
