Much of the ranch house is obscured by tall trees, and there is a wooden fence surrounding the house and lawn. There are several men in white dress shirts sitting in chairs on the front lawn, and one of the men is pictured translucently in several different spots (due to long-exposure photography). There are handwritten notes around the photograph, reading: "Here we are stopping, a kiss from Papa, Apr 7-08." The back of the postcard is blank except for postcard markings.

Postcard of a baby chicken standing on a basket full of blue flowers tied with a light blue ribbon. "Easter Greetings" is typed in the left bottom corner. The letter on the back of the postcard is illegible. The postcard is addressed to "Miss M. McFaddin 1906 McFaddin Beaumont, Tex."
