Postcard of Edward J. Soukup (1950–2015) of West, Texas, on the day of his First Communion. He is dressed in a suit and tie with a flower brooch in his lapel, a commemorative banner around his right sleeve, and black rosary beads hung around his right wrist. He holds a small pocket book with the words "COME MY JESUS" on the front. He poses next to a wooden table, upon which a long candle, lit and decorated with symbols of Communion, is placed on a candle holder, A paper is pinned to the table, reading "Remembrance of First Holy Communion" on the front with details of the sacrament and an image of Jesus giving communion to a kneeling person while surrounded by angels.
