Photograph of an UNIDENTIFIED farmer using District equipment to harvest certified Midland Bermudagrass roots on Cooperator Vetus Clarkson's farm. The back of the photograph proclaims, "Bermuda Grass Roots. District equipment harvesting certified Midland Bermuda grass roots on Cooperator Vetus Clarkson's farm. Roots are being used by District to sprig on other cooperators farms in the District. Returns to cooperator from half of harvest rights will amount to $35.00 per acre and the District will fertilize to enable another harvest in 1960. This field was sprigged in 1955."
