Flores mentions seeing Herrera's name on a program for a Coronation Ceremony and beneficial supper, but it is not indicated which he is addressing. Letter to John J. Herrera from Tony Campos, Chairman of District Eight Convention of League of United Latin American Citizens, inviting Herrera to attend the District VIII Conection of LULAC on May 23, 1954. Campos urges Herrera to help get people excited to attend the Convention. Campos includes a post scrip that reassures Herrera that District VIII is still backing him for the Presidency of LULAC.
