Burleson expresses his appreciation for Carswell's views relative to HR 5732 and for his comment relative to the international situation. Burleson states that our every effort must be made towards a sounder, well-prepared Nation. "The present outlook is not good, and we cannot afford to risk a repetition of the disaster we knew in this last war."
