Letter to John J. Herrera from T.W. Buckshot Lane. Lane addresses Herrera as his "Friend Johnny" and asks Herrera to once again join the race to run for the office of Harris County Representative. Lane expresses his confidence in being elected if his name is on the ballot to run for the position of Representative of Wharton County, which he confides in Herrera that he is considering. "If you have plans for another race then in the event the two of us are lucky I think there is no doubt about it, we can together gets things done, your legal training and brains, my guts and big mouth, we should do things."
