The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Afton Keeton. Keeton joined the Navy in early 1942. He completed Hospital Corps School, and served as a Pharmacist’s Mate. He volunteered for Submarine School. From 1944 through the end of the war, Keeton worked in the sick bays aboard USS Seadragon (SS-194) and USS Tilefish (SS-307). He shares numerous anecdotes of his work aboard the submarines, though does not go into detail of where they traveled through the Pacific. Keeton continued his service after World War II, and retired in February of 1972.

Interview with Bill Snead, a communications specialist in the US Air Force during WWII. He answers questions about his experiences during the war.

Interview with John Partin, a diesel engineer in the US Navy during WWII. He answers questions about his life before the service and experiences overseas.

Interview with E. H. Hartleib, a gunner's mate technician who served on the USS Bonhomme Richard during the Vietnam War. Hartleib answers questions regarding his time in the service, including his clearance to work with nuclear weapons. He also elaborates on his training, his duties in the military, what he thought of the war, etc.

Interview with Mike Shields, an infantryman in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He answers questions about his experience in the military during the war.

Interview with John C. Hencke, a veteran of the United States Army during World War II, from New York City, New York. Hencke responds to questions regarding his time in the service and overseas, as well as what was going on back home. He notes his relationships that he kept up while he was away and the duties he maintained in the Army.

Interview with Garland Huey, a United States Navy veteran of World War II originally from Baytown, Texas. Huey answers questions about how he entered the Navy and his initial experiences; he tells a lengthy story of most of his time aboard ship, including one instance where one of the main guns got jammed.

Interview with Wally Fowler, a pilot in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, retired in 1978. Fowler begins by giving an overview of his career in the Air Force and what he is currently doing, as well as going into detail about his experiences and duties while in Vietnam.

Interview with Usan Fannett, a United States Marine during World War II who served in the Pacific theater. Fannett talks about the places that he was sent including the Aleutians, Saipan, Tarawa, Iwo Jima, etc. and the fighting that took place. Towards the end of the interview Fannett talks about what they did in order to get rid of the aircraft.

Interview with Louis Belk, a B-17 Waist Gunner who served with the U.S. Army Air Corps (Air Force) in World War II from San Antonio, Texas. Belk describes his time training in Texas and experiences serving in England. He also talks about what it was like returning home to the United States from the war.

Interview with B. L. Henderson, a United States Marine veteran of the Korean War. Henderson answers questions concerning his service time as well as recounts certain operations and movements of he and his fellow Marines during his time in Korea. He tells about their rations, retreating procedures, and weaponry used.

Interview with Douglas Wallace Jr., a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Air Force. He describes being drafted, training, and his adjustment back to civilian life.
