Laurel conveys the approval of the LULAC Supreme Council for sociological and statistical data contained in the report by Lyle Saunders and Olen T. Leonard, entitled, "The Wetback in the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas." Laurel writes that the council also condemns the false and prejudiced statements attributed to three people interviewed by the sociologists. This report is to be discussed at an upcoming LULAC Convention.
