Patent for improvements in automatic time-controlled operating mechanisms by using a combination of a spring-actuated rotary disk, a clock mechanism, and co-acting cams to automatically operating at predetermined times, electric switches and other devices, such as locking and unlocking doors of warehouses. Patent for a new and improved check-spring. This design "relates to check reins; and its object is to provide a new and improved check-spring for preventing sudden jars to a horse's mouth when the animal throws his head forward" (line 7 - 11).

Patent for a cot frame designed to accommodate two people. Illustrations included.

Patent for a back pressure valve for well drilling which may be "removed from the well with facility and despatch" (lines 18-20).

Patent for an automobile jack that lifts the vehicle so that necessary repairs can be made and that relieves constant pressure of the tires.

Patent for a new and improved car door. This design "has for an object to provide a simple and convenient construction by which the door, which is mainly intended for grain-cars, may be pressed firmly against the bottom of the car and fastened, so it will not shake loose in making a trip, may be easily started in opening, and will be efficient and durable" (lines 8-14).

Patent for a new and improved coupling for railroad cars. This design consists in "[t]he combination of the draw-head, the coupling-hook supported therein and having a limited longitudinal movement, the front edge of said hook being formed with inclined faces . . . and a vertical face arranged to engage proper faces in the draw-head, the forward movement of said hook being limited by [the] inclined faces . . . and vertical face, and its backward movement of bolt or stud and its upward movement by engagement of [one] surface with [another] surface" (lines 93-103).

Patent for self-driven, rotating, exhaust vent brushes to arrest sparks.

Patent for a new and improved back-band for harnesses. This design "relates to back-bands for that class of harnesses wherein chains are used for traces; and [the] invention consists, principally, in providing the back-band at its ends with metal loops through which the traces pass to protect the leather of the back-band from wear. The invention also consists in connecting snap-hoops to the metal end-pieces by means of metal loops" (lines 7-15).

Patent for a new and improved ant trap. This design consists in "[t]he combination, with the side pieces, of the traps located between opposite ends of said side pieces and separated by an inclosed space, the openings communicating with said traps and the slides for closing said openings" (lines 61-66).

Patent for a new and improved car door. This design "has for an object to provide a simple construction by which the door in its open and closed positions may be pressed firmly in against the side of the car, and by which the door may more perfectly protect the contents of the car from the weather than the doors of ordinary construction" (lines 8-14).

Patent for improvements to the tail of aeroplanes. This invention is to be used to help control the flight of planes or heavy projectiles, and would not have effects on the equilibrium or be difficult to use.

Patent for lifting jack used to lift vehicles.

Patent for an indexer of paper documents in book form. It is made to open along the center with visible subject headings.

Patent for an irrigator used to treat piles (hemorrhoids) and similar diseases. A nozzle delivers liquid to wash the surface of the mucus coating of the afflicted area, and then drains the liquid without obstructing the flow of the liquid. Patent includes illustrations.

Patent for "Locking Device for Differential Gears adapted especially for use in connection with automobiles using the “full floating” type of rear axle." (lines 4-7) including instructions and illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved invalid's chair. This design "relates to an improvement in chairs which will adapt them to the use of invalids and children" (line 7-9).

Patent for an improved sprinkler.

Patent for improvements in hydrocarbon-burners by providing “a burner constructed to cause a complete combustion, a more intense heat, and to obviate to a marked degree, the noise occasioned by the down draft and the combustion.” (Lines 11-15) Illustration is included.

Patent for an improved automobile spark-plug with both insulated and non-insulated cylinders that will activate with any spark to the device.
