This letter is in response to the huge amount of mail received by the unite holders from his original general letter. Also included is a flash announcement which, at the end, asks the unit holders to "sign and send in the enclosed proxy so that we may represent you...to defeat the present sale of the property."

Whiteside's company is "the largest agency in the world...acting between you and your sources of credit." Also included in the record is the envelope that the letter was delivered in.

She goes on to describe the unfair treatment Washington has given Clay, Jr.'s detachment in England and herself by not clarifying the cause of Harold Ainsworth's death.

Letter from Albert Sydney Burleson to Dr. Joseph Pound concerning Pound's wish for an increase in pensions; Burleson tells him to bring himself "within the same category of those who have heretofore been granted increases" and there will be no problem obtaining an increase. At the end of the letter he tells the doctor not to have his secretary speak for him as "she is not very popular with the members" of the respective committee.

Letter written to Josephine Bahl from John K. Strecker, Jr. regarding the poultry show at his exhibit on a Thursday night. He says to her that if she hasn't "made an engagement for next Sunday night with J. L. remember me."
