The agreement states that the principal sum plus interest, 7% per year payable semi-annually, will be due three years from January 1, 1901. Six payment coupons were handwritten at the bottom of the agreement and were to be clipped then taken with payment to the Union Trust Co., where payments would be paid and noted on record. Letter from F. H. Kollock to H. K. Redway which states that Kollock has enclosed the warranty deed from J. Q. Brigham. Kollock details that he has also included the certificate of register of deeds from the county, showing that the mortgage has been "satisfied of record."

A letter from Hamilton K. Redway in Washington D.C. to his wife, Loriette Redway, on January 5, 1866. The letter is regarding Hamilton Redway's feelings toward his wife. Redway expresses his disappointment in his wife's suspicion of him, and attests his affection for her and his family. Redway mentions that he will soon be in Little Rock, Arkansas. Redway also mentions that he has heard from Hib.

By order of the Secretary of War, E. D. Townsend, this general court martial order No.43 states that Captain Henry W. Scott would be released and returned to duty. Scott's trial was held without authority and the proceedings were considered "null and void." The order is signed by the acting adjutant general, but his signature is illegible. The date and location of Capt. Scott's trial is stated in the order.Scott was part of the 1st Veteran New York Cavalry.

Return of Capt. Hamilton K. Redway which details the present and absent men of Company "F" First Veteran regiment of the New York Cavalry for the month of January in the year of 1865. The return notes enlisted men on "extra or daily duty," commissioned officers present or absent, and any alterations made to the company for this particular month. This document was created while Redway was stationed at Kelley's Creek in West Virginia.

Letter from Captain S. Farlin to Captain Hamilton K. Redway which deatils that Farlin has sent ten days forage for the cavalry's 181 horses. Farlin also notes that if the number of horses is incorrect for Redway to relay that information back to him in order to remedy the issue. Captain Farlin would like Redway to send the empty forage sacks by train to him so they can be credited for the month. The letter was sent to Redway while he was stationed at Kelly's Creek in West Virginia.

Letter from J. B. Stonehouse to Captain Hamilton C. Redway stating that he was sending a certified copy of the enlistment papers of Robert Way enlisted at Dunkirk July 8, 1864. The name of Charles Brown cannot be found the books of the Provost Marshal at Buffalo.
