Carswell also reminicses of his aquaintance with Dr. Hollis [L. W. Hollis] and her mother and of the hospital built by Dr. Hollis. He compliments her decision in selecting Hendrick Memorial Hospital in which to place a marker dedicating the service of Dr. Hollis as a physician to the community in the early years of Abilene.
