He later says that the wagon has been remodeled and moved to another station; the wagon is loaded down with ladders in the back. Postcard from J. P. Eagan to George Pendexter with a note talking about having to fight a large fire in 15-degrees below zero weather. He notes that the fire chief, van Toor, is sick but that Pendexter should hear from him shortly. The photograph on the reverse side of the card shows the crew of the "#32 Hose Wagon" in St. Louis, Missouri. There are six firemen in the photograph, all are standing or sitting on the wagon; the wagon itself is equipped with a large water cannon mounted towards the front.

Color tinted halftone postcard of the city hall, Marshall, Texas, 110 E. Houston St. The view shows the façade and east side of the building, which is on a slope. It has three stories and a basement. Three men in suits stand on the front sidewalk. A telephone pole is on the corner. Printed on the left top of the image is the title "City Hall, Marshall, Texas." A year is not legible in the postmark on the back, but handwritten at the top of the message is the date Nov. 17, 1908. A stylized "A H Co" is printed in the top left corner of the back. The card is addressed to Mrs. Homer Isett, Chanute, Kansas.
