Dallas County probate record regarding the case of Lemmon, Mattie A. (Deceased) and Wm. H. Lemmon (Executor or Guardian). This file contains 125 images and two cases. In case #807, the first 108 pages pertain to the estate of Axel Johnson, an immigrant from Sweden. Axel died 17 Feb 1882 in Dallas. There is much correspondence from Sweden that contains genealogical information about his family members. In case #807-1/2, starting on image 109, are the estate papers of Mattie Lemmon who died 16 Jan 1883.

Message from Ramón Perea with an announcement from Andrésde de Mendivil saying that Basilio Benavides is named Administrator of Mail in Laredo. The document is badly stained and has many tears along the right edge of the paper.

Communications concerning a debt to José Manuel Dovalina owed by Victoriana Garay, and one that Dovalina wants settled. According to the documents witnesses attest to the truth of his statements and Joaquín de Arredondo sends the petition to Felipe de la Garza; ultimately the settlement is agreed on.

Ordinances from José Andrés Farías to remedy some of the bad situations such as selling corn illegally, pigs roaming around freely, cohabitation, and stealing.

Last will and testament for Dolores del Rivero, outlining her possessions and the inheritors. The document is signed at the end by numerous individuals such as José Francisco de la Garza, Ildefonso Ramón, and others.

Request from José Pérez Rey asking for settlement of an old debt that can be documented by papers in the archives. The document has frayed edges and is signed by José Andrés Farías, Ignacio Jaime, and others.
