Test Run Poetry
Recording was taken from a homemade CD titled "Test Run Poetry/ 30 Tracks." There are 28 individual tracks featuring poems written and read by Harold Epstein. There are some with related or similar content and others that are unique. Epstein uses different styles for a few of the poems to add effects like singing, echoing his words, and emphasizing some words and not others.

Interview with Larry Aldrich, a U.S. Air Force veteran who served in England during the Iraqi war. Aldrich describes his experiences when he enlisted including his training and work as a guard at a nuclear weapons storage facility and later, overseas at RAF Lakenheath.

Oral History Interview with Franklin B. Murphy, November 20, 2003
The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an oral interview with Franklin B. Murphy of Milford, Maine. He discusses enlisting in the U.S. Marines and going through basic training in South Carolina before completing his communications training in North Carolina. He also talks about his journey from Hawaii to Tarawa and the horrors he saw when they arrived and started to set up communication lines. Mr. Murphy was assigned to the twenty-fourth marines as their communication before being sent to Iwo Jima. He was in Guam for some recreational time when the bombs were dropped on Japan and the war ended, he was then discharged December of 1945.

Audio cassette from the NaDeane Walker Anderson collection. The oral history, by interviewer Cindy William, interviews NaDeane Walker Anderson, Women’s Army Corps (WAC) servicewoman during the second world war. NaDeane Walker Anderson was born in 1921 on a family farm near Canton, Texas. She was the second youngest child of nine to Charles H. Walker and Wincie Sides Walker. In 1942, NaDeane graduated from North Texas State Teacher’s College (NTSTC) in Denton, Texas.
