Business card for Arthur B. Chaffee, president of Bishop College in Marshall, Texas. On one side are black and white halftone photographs of buildings on the Bishop College campus: Marston Hall, Wolverton Shop, Bishop Hall, "The Mansion," and Morehouse Hall. On the other side is printed: "Rev. Arthur B. Chaffee, D. D., President." Written in pencil above Chaffee's name: "Nannie J. Brackens, Waxahachie, Tex @ home Olive, Tex." Bishop College was established in 1881 as a Baptist college for African Americans in Texas. The school moved to Dallas in 1961. The campus was sold the same year. Its buildings were demolished.

The Pink Cloud Bride and Her Pink Wedding

"The Pink Cloud Bride and Her Pink Wedding" is a small book of paper dolls celebrating traditional 1950s wedding fashion. The dolls on the cover are a small child and a young woman both wearing plain light pink dresses on an illustrated background of the full bridal outfits including a veil, bonnet, and flowers. The following pages include multiple uncut outfits for the guests, groom, and bride. The title and description appear in the top corners of the leaf.
