The engaged columns of Rajarajeshvara temple depict various aspects of Shiva. Many human figures rest in carved windows. Several mythological animals decorate the pillars.

This view shows the carved figurative decoration on the lintel frieze of figures both seated and standing.

The painting on the cave wall depicts several seated half-clothed figures inside an architectural setting. In the lower right corner is another couple can be seen through a gold embellished window. In the upper right corner are more people. On the left side is an animal that resembles a horse or dog. There are many missing chips. Vidhurapandita teaches the sacred doctrine to the Naga King Varuna on the left and Queen Vimala is on the balcony discussing her marriage. Vidhurapandita and the court lady are below the balcony.

The sculptural relief consists of lotus medallion in a mandala pattern. Two figures flank the sides of the relief.

An elephant charges then kneels at feet of a Buddha figure as people watch.

An elephant dominates the scene with some figures in the foreground and background. Some foliage and rocky formations are also part of this painted imagery on the wall of the cave.

The scene painted on the wall of the cave consists of many male and female figures. In the foreground, a couple are engaged in an enclosed shrine.

The water feature is geometric and includes surrounding steps. Beyond the pools is a building with many compartments open to the exterior.

This view contains a platform and an intact temple in the background. People walking around perimeter in foreground show the massive scale of the height of the elevation. Some archaeologists can be seen digging at the base.
