[Note from Harris Leon Kempner to Fred H. Rayner, November 7, 1956]
Handwritten letter from I. H. Kempner to Fred H. Rayner discussing a contract and pricing differences between different qualities of cotton. He mentions a difference of 250 points between California (Calif) 6 1/8 and Strict Middling 1/16th (S M 1/16). The note also refers to attempts to settle at 220 points after trading and suggests that if the recipient has actually bought to cover and has the 6 1/8th long, they might be able to sell it at 250 points over the base.
