This article looks at Mark A. Greene and Dennis Meissner's attitudes towards preservation as revealed in their articles on More Product, Less Process (MPLP), the relationship between access and preservation, and the importance of preservation within archives; it also offers strategies for efficient preservation.

This paper presents results of an exploratory analysis of representation of dates in over 8 million metadata records from the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA), and compares it to Extended Date/Time Format (EDTF) specifications.

Audio for presentation describing how being a student assistant at UNT Libraries impacted Holly Dolan. The presentation also includes perspectives from other student workers, as well as advice on how to improve library programs to ensure the success of student workers. This presentation was shown at the 2015 Texas Library Association Annual Conference.

Poster was shown at the Cross Timbers Library Collaborative (CTLC) Conference on August 7, 2015. It coincided with a presentation on the University of North Texas Libraries' Collection Map, a collection assessment tool used to provide additional data and increased flexibility. The poster gives the objectives, as well as the methods, results, improvements, and future applications associated with the system.

The UNT Libraries: TRAC Conformance Document is designed to supplement and provide extended reference to the UNT Libraries’ TRAC Audit Checklist (Appendix A), which outlines the requirements of a Trusted Digital Repository. The self assessment of the UNT Libraries and its Digital Collections encompasses an evaluation of its associated policies, procedures, workflows, modelling, and technical infrastructure in the TRAC audit process.
