Data management plan for the grant, "Examination and Refinement of a Novel Treatment for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder: Processing of Positive Memories Technique (PPMT)." The study aims to examine effects of and targets underlying a novel technique for posttraumatic stress disorder focused on positive memories (Processing of Positive Memories Technique; PPMT). Specific aims include (1) examining PPMT’s effects; (2) examining mechanistic targets such as improved affect underlying PPMT’s effects; and (3) refining PPMT.

This article investigates the relationship between CBD use and marijuana use to understand the antecedents and consequences of co-use of these two cannabis products.

Undergraduate thesis examining the moderating role of religious coping on the associations between romantic attachment and psychological symptoms among 86 heterosexual, married couples with children aged 8-11. Spouses completed a demographic questionnaire, the Brief RCOPE (Pargament et al., 1998), the Experiences in Close Relationships Scale (Brennan et al., 1998), and the Symptom Assessment-45 (Maruish, 1996, 1998). Using the Actor-Partner Interdependence Model (Kenny et al., 2006), multilevel modeling examined both within-person (actor) and dyadic (partner) influences between spouses.

Undergraduate thesis studying anxiety and substance use disorders (SUD) by examining the prevalence of anxiety-SUD comorbidity in an outpatient psychology training clinic and assessing how it affects psychotherapy outcomes. Results revealed that anxiety and SUD is more highly comorbid compared to when anxiety is paired with another disorder and the presence of a comorbid SUD was associated with worse therapy outcomes at the beginning and end of therapy. However, the comorbid SUD did not affect the rate of recovery in patients. Both groups benefited equally from therapy.

Poster evaluates the representation of racial and ethnic minority students in clinical psychology doctoral programs as well as the rate at which they were matched for internship compared to non-Hispanic White students. It was presented at the Council of University Directors of Clinical Psychology Virtual Midwinter Meeting held in January 2021. It was also presented at the UNT Psychology Research Day event held in November 2020.

Data management plan for the grant, "Piloting Deposit Contracts to Increase Accessibility of a Contingency Management Intervention to Reduce Problematic Drinking". The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the feasibility and/or effectiveness of deposit contracts as an intervention for problematic drinking.

Article examining how amygdala activation to facial expressions was linked with self-report of personality traits and clinical interviews of internalizing and externalizing symptoms of psychopathology. Structural equation modeling results revealed direct associations of amygdala activation with personality trait expression, as well as indirect associations (though personality) with symptoms of psychopathology.

This article's aim was to compare the efficiency of the Picture Interpretation Test 360° (PIT 360°) with traditional measures on executive dysfunction in Persons with Multiple Sclerosis (PwMS) and Healthy Controls (HC). Overall, the PIT 360° was concluded to be a quick, sensitive, and ecological tool that captures real-world executive dysfunction in PwMS. This engaging measure is sensitive for the detection of executive deficits since the early phases of the disease.

Article describes how the Aberrant Salience Inventory (ASI) is a useful tool to measure salience abnormalities among the general population. The authors claim that there is strong clinical and scientific evidence that salience alteration is linked to psychosis.

Article describes how incarcerated youth are characterized by particularly high rates of childhood trauma, a significant risk factor for outcomes including risky behaviors and recidivism. The authors examined relationships between TCL 2.0 scores, measures of psychopathology, and psycopathic traits in a sample of incarcerated male juvenile offenders.

Article describes how authors examined publications of medical N-of-1 trials to examine whether they meet the evidence standards and the criteria for demonstrating evidence of a relation between an independent and an outcome variable per the What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) standards for SCEDs. The authors also examined the appropriateness of the data analytic techniques in the special context of N-of-1 designs.
