Data management plan for the grant "Raise Up Radio: Family and Youth Engagement in Library Supported Learning Via Radio." The University of North Texas and the University of Alabama, in partnership with the Pottsboro Area Library and the Tuscaloosa Public Library, will develop a program called "Raise Up Radio: Family and Youth Engagement in Library Supported Learning Via Radio" to address educational inequities that became even more pronounced during the COVID-19 pandemic and create a professional network of librarians who use radio broadcasts. Over two years, six libraries serving high-need rural communities in Texas and Alabama will each implement a total of four, five-week educational programs delivered over local radio stations. The program will leverage existing community resources to create accessible educational content through collaborative partnerships. It will connect libraries, museums, and educational institutions with students in rural communities through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) content. Local youth and families will develop these new radio programs using best practices for equitable youth and family engagement in learning. Data management plan for the grant "REU Site: Beyond Language: Training to Create and Share Vector Embeddings across Applications." This three-year Research Experiences for Undergraduate (REU) site project at University of North Texas will support 10 students for 10 weeks each summer and teach them how to build modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems capable of communicating their acquired knowledge across domains. Knowledge is about much more than what can be described in language, and we aim to train students to handle this new way of communication.

Data management plan for the grant "School Librarians Facilitating the Success of English Language Learners." Grant for the University of North Texas Departments of Information Science, Learning Technologies, and Linguistics, in partnership with the International Association of School Librarians, to hold a forum about building the capacity of school librarians to provide services for English language learners (ELLs). The forum will convene contributors from the school library community and ELL stakeholders, such as linguists, ELL community members, public librarians, educational technologists, teachers, and school administrators to explore strategies and best practices for teaching ELLs.

This paper presents the development and evaluation of the mobile augmented reality application designed specifically for acquiring spatial analysis, situational awareness, and visual communication.

This paper explores the role of Historically Black College and University (HBCU) archives in preserving the history and cultural heritage of these institutions and investigates the factors that contribute to the disparities observed in the availability of digital collections and the staffing of archivists across HBCUs in the United States. Data was collected from 102 HBCU websites and the National Center for Education Statistics, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square tests, and ordinary linear regression. The findings revealed notable disparities in the staffing of archivists and the presence of digital archive collections, with geography, enrollment, and endowment emerging as potentially significant factors. The study highlights the importance of understanding key factors in the availability of digital archive collections and the staffing of archivists at HBCUs.

Data management plan for the grant, "Stewarding Cultural Heritage: Latino Art, Museums, and Preservation Fellowship (LAMP Fellowship)."

Poster discussing practical methods for ensuring the quality of descriptive metadata associated with linguistic datasets in language archive deposits. Digital language archives are valuable tools for facilitating language revitalization, providing data on lesser-known languages, and supporting reproducibility of research and development of linguistic theory, though their potential remains unrealized as the data available in language archives are rarely accessed by linguists or language communities. Reasons for this under-utilization are the issues with data standardization and metadata quality. Including basic grammatical and typological information would allow wider audiences to reach the material.

Article discusses how, during the COVID-19 pandemic, US public health authorities and county, state, and federal governments recommended or ordered certain preventative practices, such as wearing masks, to reduce the spread of the disease. The purpose of this study was to understand the variations in public sentiment toward COVID-19 and the recommended or ordered preventive practices from the temporal and spatial perspectives, as well as how the variations in public sentiment are related to geographical and socioeconomic factors.

This article offers a theory of public knowledge for the purposes of defining more clearly its role in information systems and classification schemas.

Authors of the article suggest that the novelty of Intentional Model of Pedagogical Process Guidance (IMPPG) is the effectiveness use of Cognitive Trait Model to be aware of different traits of learner. This model has been experimented and assessed with tutors and students learning spreadsheet management in a first-year studying in applied license’s degree in Business English and applied license’s degree in Education.
