Letter from John Todd Willis, Jr. to Clara Evans Willis, on May 31, 1944. He entreats her to get well and be careful while recovering from her operation, and thanks her for some boxes of food she sent to him. He tells her his company has moved into tents, with six men to a tent, which he finds to be a relief from living in a room with thirty other men.
