Betty talks about her family's migration to the area, her work on the Rations board, life on a ranch, and her activity in the Kerr County Historical Commission and the Republican Party.

Interview with Jack and Frances Real Stevens, a ranching and former Navy couple from Kerrville, Texas. The couple describes their individual childhoods, growing up in town and on a ranch, as well as their travels around the world. Mr. and Mrs. Stevens also discuss their involvement with the Kerrville community. The interview includes a history of the Kerrville German Dance Club, on pages 2-4.

Interview with Andrew Brosh, Sr., a veteran of the U.S. Army from Karnes County, Texas who served in World War II. Brosh describes his time in basic training and experiences serving in Europe, as well as seeing American prisoners of war.

Griggs discussing different battalions and regiments; Hartwell has had his battalion for a while and had recently been pulled out of the line. Hartwell also says he has seen only "one of the old gang" in Chris Daley; there is also indecision on who will go to Rucker and "who would go on the list."

Interview with Marjorie Rae Lutkins Babcock, Women's Army Corps Enlisted, Keypunch Operator, and Korean War-ere Veteran, for the Women Veterans Oral History Project. The interview includes Babcock's personal experiences of childhood in Michigan, basic training at Fort Lee, Virginia, duty assignments at Governor's Island, New York and Hanau, Germany, her temporary duty assignment at the Pentagon, her placement in the Veterans of Foreign War's Women's Auxiliary despite veteran status, and her brother's experience in the Merchant Marines during World War II. Additionally, the interview includes her reason for enlisting, her family's reaction to her enlistment, impressions of post-war Germany, advice for future women service members, her views on service and women in combat, and her daughter's views of the military and the military service of her mom and other family members. The interview includes an appendix with photographs and a list detailing Babcock's military career.

He also asks after various colonists and tells him that until the stock company for the colony is established, he will not use Louis' name in connection with it. Signed "Your dear and faithful father Huth" in August 1845. Also, Letter from [Ludwig Huth] to [Ferdinand] Louis [Huth] expressing surprise that he has been without news for so long. He includes new prices for passage to the colony according to the new prospectus. He discusses political and financial aspects of the colonization. Unsigned, possibly incomplete. He assisted with coordinating German companies in cleaning up after the war, rebuilding roads and picking up artillery shells. Wile continued in the Army after the war, completing 30 years of service in the military.
