Neighbor, Car Make Surprise Call Next Door: A DRIVING lesson ended Friday for Mrs. Ocia Mae Brown, 31, when her car plowed through the bedroom of a neighbor's home at 719 S Shartel. A life-long cripple sitting in the room when the car crashed through the wall escaped injury. When the car stopped, its bumper was a foot from his wheelchair. "It's just a miracle that somebody wasn't killed." said Otis Boatman, who lives in the house with his 29-year-old invalid son ."If it had happened 10 minutes earlier, I would be dead now." The east wall of the modest frame house was torn out by the impact.. The front half of the automobile was inside the bedroom when wreckers pulled it out of the building. A fire department squad stood by in case the roof collapsed. Mrs. Brown, uninjured, but stunned, was unable to tell officers details of the accident. Accident investigators J. H. English and W. B. Cole said the car was traveling east on SW 7. Mrs Brown apparently lost control …

Investigation of several techniques for improving altitude starting limits of turbojet engines
Report presenting a study of the altitude-starting limits of a production turbojet engine with an axial-flow compressor and a multiple through-flow combustor. The ignition limits, flame-propagation limits, and acceleration limits of the engine were improved to increase the starting limits to relatively high altitude.
