Interview with Rob Shivers, a Dallas-area LGBT activist from Birmingham, Alabama. Shivers discusses discovering her sexuality, her relationships, nursing school, church involvement, closeting and her marriage, jobs worked, moving to Dallas, the LGBT community, joining the Metropolitan Community Church and establishing a parish in Dallas, organizing the first Pride parades in the area, political activism and police interference, death threats, and the Kennedy Assassination.

Interview with Ramon Ruiz, a civil servant of the Department of Education and advocate for Hispanic education from La Copita, Texas. Ruiz discusses his family history, growing up, school in Kingsville, local relations between Mexicans and white people, high school football, playing for North Texas State, becoming a coach for elementary school, joining the Job Corps, teaching inmates, working with school districts on desegregation in Texas, and work on various federal education programs in Washington with an emphasis on Hispanic communities and cooperation with Mexico. In appendix is a biography of Ruiz and his resumé.

Interview with Arhtur B. Clark, a Texas National Guard WWII veteran and POW from Abilene, Texas, who was captured with the 2nd Battalion, 131st Field Artillery. Clark discusses joining the National Guard, training and maneuvers, deployment to the Pacific, the fall of Java and surrender to the Japanese, experiences in internment at Tanjong Priok in Batavia, internment at Changi Camp in Singapore, labor on the Burma "Death" Railway, and liberation. The interview includes an appendix with a reference page and a written flight log by Col. Tom Sledge.

Interview with engineer and Army veteran Mansfield Millington Bascom. The interview includes Bascom's personal experiences about the European Theater during World War II, basic training, action on the Siegfried Line, the Battle of Aachen, individual episodes of close ground combat, German tank concentrations immediately prior to the Ardennes Offensive, being wounded and evacuating from the front, recuperation, and returning to the states.

Interview with Denton resident Cassandra F. Berry, UNT employee with a personal interest in the history of Quakertown, as part of the Quakertown Oral History Project. The interview includes Berry's personal experiences about working at UNT as the Associate Vice President for Equity and Diversity, as well as her service to the Denton African American Museum, which led to her interest in the history of Quakertown.

Interview with Raymond Curtis, longtime resident and school administrator of Weatherford, Texas, as part of the Weatherford Oral History Project. The interview includes Curtis' personal experiences of farm life in the Great Depression, childhood in Collin County, Texas, and education at the University of North Texas under the GI Bill. Additionally, Curtis discusses his family history, his career as a teacher, administrator, and coach in various public school districts, the integration of Weatherford schools, the school-building program, and his career as CEO of the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce.

Interview with Sadye Gee, a teacher from Dallas, Texas. Gee discusses her family background, working a laundry service during the Great Depression, education, teaching at B. F. Darrell School, marriage, her husband's career, the Black Chamber of Commerce in Dallas, black Dallas communities, buying a home in Hamilton Park and life in the area as an African-American, raising her daughter, discrimination, schools, the growth of the area, and "buy outs" and relocation. In appendix is a sheet of Gee's biographical information.

Interview with Richard Schultz, a United States Navy veteran from Saint Louis, Missouri, regarding his experiences and memories of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor of December 7, 1941 while aboard the cruiser USS New Orleans.

Briley discusses the hiring policies for African Americans, racial problems, industrial accidents and plant medical facilities, social activities, U.S. Congressman Wright Patman's role in her being hired, and the effects of the depot on Texarkana. Interview with Ruth Ann Johnston, a former trimmer from El Paso, Texas. Johnston describes her background and journey to becoming involved in the Dallas fashion industry, education at Texas Tech and the University of North Texas, work as a trimmer in the display department in several stores, including Neiman Marcus, the "NM Way," the AIDS epidemic and its impact on the fashion industry, her shoe collection, and the importance of developing relationships in the industry.

Interview with Sarah Janice Kee, a library administrator and former student of Texan Women's University, then Texas State College for Women. Kee discusses her teaching career, experience studying Library Science at TWU, being a part of the Army Library Service during World War II, working as a librarian, with the ALA, and the U.S. Office of Education in Dallas, Texas.

Interview with Carol Dix, an author from London, England. Dix describes her pregnancy and giving birth experiences, Postpartum Depression, the writing she produced, her surgeries, crime, life in London, and her children.

Interview with Tracy Hayes, former writer and editor for the Dallas Morning News from Dallas, Texas. Hayes discusses her background and family, change in the fashion industry over time, being hired at the Dallas Morning News, becoming the founding editor of FD Luxe, a monthly fashion magazine, covering fashion shows, and her current life and interest in fashion.
