George O'Brien Millard was a prominent Beaumont citizen who helped develop the public school system in Beaumont. Printed on the top left of the postcard is "Geo. B. Millard School, Beaumont, Texas." Handwritten on the back of the postcard, "All O.K. Weather perfectly grand and things are lovely. I return to E.T June 12. Wouldn't you like to see me? Love to Aunt Lizzie & all. Hazel." Funeral program for Amy Victoria Heard Schmid, born March 4, 1924 and died May 25, 2003. The funeral was held May 29, 2003 at St. Helena's Episcopal Church, officiated by Rev. David G. Read.
