This is a document from the Charles B. Moore Collection. In this postcard, a family member from Gallatin thanks Mary for her remembrances and the little shoes. She expresses her wish to have them with the family in Gallatin this Christmas, but notes that they are having a good time and hopes the same for Mary and her family. She notes that she will write again soon to Moore and family. (The lower left side of the card is torn off, therefore the sender's name remains unknown as well as the information in those sentences.)

Postcard from W. B. Johnston to George Pendexter discussing other collectors to contact for pictures, Johnston suggests contacting F. A. Bruce, and L. A. Van Toor. The photograph on the reverse side shows the destruction at the Globe M. F. G. Co. building in Battle Creek, Michigan after a fire; the walls are crumpled inwards and the roof has caved in. Postcard of uniformed fire fighters standing near a hand-drawn fire engine. The engine has two poles on its front for the fire fighters to carry, and requires multiple people to move.
