There are three asterisks next to the information about the 30 required studio hours and how they lined up with the Meadows program, which is also underlined. A small note next to this reads "I would also be very(underlined) concerned." The hand-written letter that follows the end of the typed one reads "May 29, 1990 Dr. McCarter__ In much haste...apparently Amber was confused about what she must complete in terms of art studios. The reason that I questioned so strongly was because I have had such respect for the North Texas (Art) teachers preparation. It seemed to me that Amber was not really in the Fine Arts(underlined) program and as such was not being counseled into enough art studios, art history, etc. to properly prepare her.
