Postcard of a wooden cabin with a sign reading "Pinkiert's," across from a group of large white tents. A wooden bridge crosses the river towards the cabin. The picture is described as "Front Street, Tanana, Alaska." On the back, the letter reads, "This is the city adjoining our fort. It is called "The Coney Island" of the Yukon. Pop. 200. Next to Daveon, it is the largest settlement on the Yukon river. Does it remind you of Beaumont?" The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFadden Paso del Norte El Paso, Texas."

[Postcard of Rapids Cutting Through a Forest]

Postcard of a fast stream spilling over smooth boulders in a forest scene, with a bridge made of wood planks crossing the water. On the back, a message is written which is as follows, "Got a tip that Jack was in Houston, so I thought I would go look for him, but alas, betrayed again, same old story. "No Jack!" H. H. 10-28-11." The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFaddin Washington D. C. Gunston Hall."
