[Letter from I. H. Kempner to Max B. Arnstein, March 27, 1954]

Letter from I. H. Kempner to Max B. Arnstein discussing a woman names Glady's recent visit to the Arnstein's and explaining that him and Mrs. Kempner haven't visited them in New York in two years because it's a little too fast paced for the Kempner's now. Mr. Kempner says that Mrs. Lalla Arnstein's proposal of another $5,000 donation to the building of a synagogue in her parent's memory is more than welcomed as they are trying to raise an additional $25,000. He also vows that his family will match her donation on top of their $85,000 initial donation. Mr. Kempner also tells Mr. Arnstein that with Lalla's donations she is being given a choice of where the memorial to her parents will be placed.
