Interview with Dr. Floyd Taylor, a surgeon and World War II Army veteran. In the interview, Dr. Taylor discusses his experiences as a member of the 2nd Auxiliary Surgical Group, with which he traveled to North Africa, Italy, and France during the war. He recalls several memorable happenings concerning his career, including his induction into the U.S. Army Medical Department, his assignment to the Surgical Hospital, the formation of the Auxiliary Surgical Group, his encounter with Time correspondent Jack Belden, and the Winter Line Campaign. Dr. Taylor also discusses several of his assignments while serving in the war, including the Mayo Clinic, the Massachusetts General Hospital, the invasion of Italy and Salerno, the Anzio-Nettuno invasion, and his travels across the Atlantic to Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia. He explains his role in the compilation and publication of the War Department publication entitled, Surgery in World War II (Volume II): General Surgery. Interview with Fort Worth city councilman Salvador Espino as part of the North Texas Immigrant Rights Movement Oral History Project. The interview includes Espino's personal experiences about childhood and education, having a career a computer consultant, accountant, and attorney, volunteering for Catholic Diocese, and running for a seat representing District Two on the Fort Worth City Council. Espino also discusses the district demographics and priorities, the creation of Latinos Unidos, and his involvement in Fort Worth's 2006 immigrant rights march. Interview with accountant and Army veteran William Barsanti. The interview includes Barsanti's personal experiences about the European Theater during World War II, his youth in an Italian immigrant family, graduating from high school and enrolling in college, then in the Enlisted Reserve Corps, being inducted into the U.S. Army, basic training, being selected for the Army Specialized Training Program, transferring to the 106th Infantry Division, and his assignment to Cannon Company as a supply sergeant. The interview includes Dellinger's personal experiences about working as a riveter at Armstrong Cork and Rubber Company during World War II, and assembling time fuses for bombs at the Hamilton Watch Company. Dellinger also talks about pre-war work experience in silk mills, effects of the Great Depression on her family, her marriage to Clair Dellinger, personal motivations for seeking defense work, her decision to change jobs and work for Armstrong Cork and Rubber Company, her work on the F4U Corsair fuselage assembly line, sexual harassment, production incentives and awards, war bond drives, shift work, transportation arrangements, and her decision to quit.

Interview with U.S. Marine Corps Pilot Richard Dale as part of the Tarrant County War Veterans Oral History Project. The interview includes Dale's personal experiences of childhood, education at Baylor University and Texas A&M, attending training at Camp Pendleton, California, Quantico, Virginia, and officer candidate school. Additionally, Dale talks about his decision to enter the Marines aviation program, his assignments to various naval air stations, the particulars of "tailhook" aviation, and his civilian career with Northwest Airlines. Interview with Dean M. McCall, Army Air Corps veteran and survivor of the siege of Corregidor. The interview includes McCall's personal experiences as a prisoner-of-war of the Japanese during World War II. McCall talks about the Japanese bombing of Nichols Field, the fall of Bataan, the fall of Corregidor and his capture, Bilibid Prison, hell ship to Japan, copper mining at Motiyama, Honshu, American air raids and naval bombardment, and liberation.

Swain discusses his experiences aboard the USS Vestal at Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941, as well as his entry into the service and training, life and work aboard the Vestal, operations before December 7th, being knocked overboard by a Japanese torpedo and the destruction of the USS Arizona, and service afterwards.

Interview with Exie Jean Alaman Morne'y, a teacher from Fort Worth, Texas, who lived during the end of the Jim Crow era. Morne'y discusses her family background, attending grade school in Fort Worth, experiences with segregation and discrimination in the 1950s and 60s, attending North Texas State College, working at Parkland Hospital, her marriages and children, moving to California and back to Texas, her career with Fort Worth ISD, church activities and faith, thoughts on child education, and various related stories. In appendix are photos of her high school yearbook and her family, a petition from the Como neighborhood for utilities services in 1924, and her typed family history.

Interview with Michael Hurd, a journalist and member of the Texas Black History Preservation Project from Houston, Texas. Hurd discusses growing up in Texarkana and Houston, his education and service in the Air Force, work with the Houston Post and USA Today, Juneteenth, researching black history, the Texas Black History Preservation Project and related efforts, being an historian, the history of Juneteenth and emancipation in Texas, and civil rights. In appendix are photographs of Hurd, clippings of his reporting, and URLs to videos he was involved in.

Broadnax discusses direct action challenging segregation at Dallas-area businesses, the unification of the Dallas civil rights movement, being jailed, civil rights figures, the Dallas Committee, segregation at sports games, becoming the first black hair stylist in the area, the Kennedy assassination, Barack Obama, nightlife and recreation in Karnack and Dallas, the Civil Rights Act, Dallas as a community, and reflections on his experiences.

Interview with Greg Joly, a homesteader from Northampton, Massachusetts. Joly discusses his family background, education, gardening and Polish culture, discovering Scott and Helen Nearing's work, establishing a farm in Jamaica, Vermont, the Good Life Center, thoughts on the Nearings and their relationship with each other and others, the community, the Nearings' spiritualism and Theosophy, and analyses of the Nearings' work.

Interview with Robert Moore, a LGBT-focus journalist from Hurst, Texas. Moore discusses attending Texas Tech University, his career, working for Dallas Gay News and starting Dallas Voice, changes in attitudes toward LGBT people in Texas, HIV-AIDS, LGBT guilds and associations, and keeping up with changing media.
