Interview with Pete Craig, a veteran of the U.S. Army who served in the Pacific Theatre during World War II from Houston, Texas. Craig describes his time as a Private 1st Class in the Infantry, as well as his experiences in basic training and the places he visited throughout the United States. Included at the end of the transcript is a written summarization by the interviewer, Colby Burmaster, which was provided with the two audiotapes of the interview.

Interview with Vernon Rutherford, a Buck Sergeant in the Korean War. He answers question about his life during the war and his experiences abroad.

Interview with Alfonso Nava, a technical sergeant in the US Army during WWII. He answers questions about his decision to enlist and his experiences in the military.

Interview with Richard Craig Warren, a paratrooper/weapons specialist in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He describes his time in the service, some of his most dangerous missions, and adjusting to life coming home as a disabled vet.

Interview with Raymond D. Carter, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War who served as a bosun's mate on LSTs. Carter describes his experiences in basic training and his impressions of the war.

Interview with Gilbert Johnston, an electronics technician for submarines during the Vietnam War years. Johnston answers questions regarding how he got involved in the Navy and his volunteering to join a submarine crew. Though he never saw combat during the war he says his submarine was a "fleet missile nuclear submarine" assigned to the USS Tecumseh.

Interview with Robert Edward Harris, a veteran of World War II, serving in India at the time. Harris answers questions relating to his training, duties, and activities while over in India towards the end of the war; Harrs also answers questions concerning his feelings towards the war and his enemies.

Interview with John Andrews, a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps from Kentwood, Louisiana. It includes a list of questions regarding Andrews's training and service in World War II as a B-29 command pilot and flight instructor throughout the United States.
