The second letter, which is handwritten from Mrs. Poindexter and dated August 26, 1940, updates Dr. Bodansky on her progress concerning her health. The first letter, which is from Dr. Bodansky and dated September 19, 1940, is a response to Mrs. Poindexter's note. Dr. Bodansky assures her that he would like her to keep him updated on her health and condition.

The letter from Dr. Fine contains a copy of correspondence to Secretary of State Medical Society from the Boston Committee on Medical Emigres regarding future involvement in a program for assisting Jewish medical immigrants. A pamphlet is included in the letter from Dr. Fine from the Journal of American Medical Association describing the program.

Letters between Tephia F. Slater, a school social worker, and Dr. Meyer Bodansky, the Director of Laboratories at the John Sealy Hospital. The second letter from Mrs. Slater, which is dated September 26, 1940, addresses the Superintendent of the John Sealy Hospital. Mrs. Slater recommends a young medical student for admission, and requests information on the Laboratory Technology program. The first letter is a response from Dr. Meyer Bodansky and dated October 2, 1940. He informs Mrs. Slater that the school is not currently accepting students because it is at capacity, however he is willing to take recommendations for the future.
