Card with letter from Mrs. J. Hodges to Harris Leon Kempner regarding the annual "Country Fair" on May 9th that Travis Grammar School is sponsoring. She mentioned that they saw his ad of offering plants to whoever can pick them up, sine plants are needed, she's checking if these plants are still available.

The scene shows three pagoda temple statues and dozens of flowerbeds of many different colors surrounding a small stream. Birds can be seen standing along the stream. On either side of the stream are two pathways connected by a small bridge crossing the stream. The paths are further surrounded by more flowers and large palms and trees. On the back of the card is a message from Halle Steinberg to Daniel W. and Jeane Bertig Kempner discussing a recent visit from them to Sol S. Steinberg and his upcoming discharge from the hospital.
