Interview with Democratic representative and political journalist David Allred from Wichita Falls, Texas. In the interview, Allred discusses his experiences as a member of the Second Special Session of the Sixty-fifth Legislature. He also talks about his personal views on issues such as Proposition 13 in California, treasury surplus, the repeal of sales tax on residential utility bills, the increase in inheritance tax exemptions, taxation of agricultural and timber land, initiative-referendum, the Peveto Bill, the formation of the "Filthy Fifty", the Sam Houston Caucus, and the House Study Group. Allred also comments on Governor Dolph Briscoe, Speaker Bill Clayton, and Lieutenant Governor Bill Hobby

Interview with Army veteran David Bedell. The interview includes Bedell's personal experiences at Hickam Field with the 443rd Signal Battalion during the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

Interview with Dick Hooper, veteran army nurse from Mount Zion, Illinois. The interview recounts his experiences as a nurse and anesthetist in Vietnam, 1969-70. His civilian and military educations are covered, as well as his experiences with the 18th Surgical Hospital at Camp Evans, Quang Tri City, battle casualties, social life, and relations with the Vietnamese. Also included are his personal thoughts about U.S. involvement in Vietnam.

Interview with Air Force veteran Douglas R. "Roy" Crawford. The interview includes Crawford's personal experiences about early family life, joining the U.S. Army Air Forces, training as a bulldozer operator, removing radioactive debris from Hiroshima, training as a radar operator at Edwards Air Force Base, California, and working as the radar tracker when Major Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier in the Bell X-1 on October 19, 1947. Additionally, Crawford talks about his assignments to Clark Air Force Base, Philippines, and Korea, as a forward air observer, his role as an airborne radar operator during the Bay of Pigs invasion and the Cuban Missile Crisis, his various activities with the NASA Space Program, and clandestine missions with the CIA and Air America over Cambodia during the Vietnam War.

Interview with Navy veteran Edward Jones. The interview includes Jones' personal experiences while aboard the battleship USS California during the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. The interview includes an appendix with a letter written by Jones.

Audio log for a recording of an interview with Eileen Russell, assistant manager of flight attendants for Braniff International Airways, conducted for the Flying Voices oral history project. In the interview Russell discusses flight attendant training, her experiences as a flight attendant, getting married and leaving Braniff, returning to Braniff during the leadership transition to Harding Lawrence, and how the overall experience working for Braniff defined her as a person.

Interview with Eva McMillan, a civil rights activist from Tennessee. McMillan discusses growing up in the segregated South, her family, early involvement in civil rights, experiences of racism and discrimination, her son Ernie's establishing a chapter of the SNCC at UT Arlington, Ernie's arrests and imprisonment, founding various advocacy and activism groups in Dallas, milestones and tragedies of the Civil Rights Movement, conflict with the police and the decline of the SNCC, and reflections on her work. In appendix are photos of McMillan and Dallas-area civil rights activists, a flier, and newspaper clippings.

Audio log for a recording of an interview with Gail Laszlo, former flight attendant for Braniff International Airways, conducted for the Flying Voices oral history project. In the interview Laszlo talks about her experiences as a flight attendant, personal reflections on Braniff's impact and being part of the Braniff family, decision to quit in 1970 and the airlines bankruptcy in 1982.

Charles discusses growing up in the Great Depression; joining the Marine Corps and training; assignment to the USS Houston (CA-30) at Manila as a heavy machine gunner and events before the war; the Battle of Sunda Strait and sinking of the Houston; capture by the Japanese and being held at Serang, Java; experiences in internment and forced labor at Bicycle Camp in Batavia, Changi Camp in Singapore, various camps along the Burma Railway, and Saigon; liberation; psychological treatment, trauma, and adjusting to civilian life. In appendix is a letter written by Charles to Marcello including additional information for the interview.

Interview with Dr. Jack B. Scroggs, a history professor at NTSU and World War II veteran from Little Rock, Arkansas. Scroggs recounts his experiences working with prisoners-of-war, including his entrance into the Army, training, and initial assignments; his transfer to a supply depot worked by German POWs at Jefferson, Indiana; how the prisoners were organized and cared for; the labor they performed; their character; the social dynamics in the camp; outside efforts to make camp life tougher; inspections by various agencies; and events at the end of the war.
