[Letter from Henry Sayles to Richard Cordwent, May 25, 1912]

Letter from Henry Sayles to Richard Cordwent stating his beliefs on the condition of the railroad in Abilene. Sayles states the Cotton Belt people will build a line first unless the Texas Central Railway quickly moves to occupy the land. Sayles states there is no reason to talk to Webb, the president of the M. K. & T. Railroad to try to change the policies in place. Sayles wants to extend the railroad from Abilene into Cross Plains, but does not believe this will happen without rights of way from the people who live there.
