The rear of the building - where tires, batteries, filters, grease and oil were stored...George Adkins, manager of the warehouse, said he could not estimate damages. Sgt. C. L. As do most presidents, he has his whims and the secret Service isn't going to thwart him. Such was the case Friday afternoon when the president's helicopter arrived at the state fairgrounds. Elaborate security precautions had been taken. The president was to ride in a closed Cadillac limousiene and ride a motorcade speed to the rostrum, which was about one-half mile away. The secret service refers to the presidential car as, "the boss's car." Well, "The Boss" didn't want his car. he preferred to ride in a Coninental convertible."
