The attendance figure fell about 25,000 short of what officials had expected. But, James C. Burge, exposition director, said another scheduled "Kid's day" may yet boost attendance over the 100,000 mark. Last Thursday youngsters nwill again be admitted through the gates free of charge, and midway rides again be tailored to fit small-fry pocketbooks. Most rides will be 10 cents, with the exceptio of the Rotor and the Skywheel. Total attendance at the exposition marking Oklahoma's fifieth birthdaybirthday Tuesday reached 680,328. Attendance on any one day has never topped the 100,000 mark, although it came close Sunday when 97,433 persons flocked to the exposition grounds despite the threatening skies.Clinto shared the spotlight Tuesday with Oklahoma City, taking over three seperate programs both in front of the band shell and Teen Town.......Princess Abilia, shaped calypso dancer, gave the mayor the first 500,000 keys that were airlifted to more that 80 towns and cities over the state...the sultry, Puerto Rico-born dancer then picked someone in the crowd to recieve the seconf key.
