Sonam Wangchuk, Cheten Tshering, and Chador discuss various utensils used in the past when conducting a feast offering. They say their parents share the same ancestral route. Their parents used to borrow utensil feast offerings because they couldn't purchase them. Cheten Tshering shows the new box to keep cups, mugs, and plates when not in use.

Mr. Sonam Wangchuck, one of the cooks and sponsors of the annual feast, discusses the preparations for the feast with a group. Seven households from Bamchang and Rinzentangpang villages sponsor the feast every year. Here he is preparing butter tea for the monks involved in feast offerings.

Conversation at the annual feast offering, one of the main events for Dakpa communities in Thragom, Rinzentangpang, and Bamchuang. This year, it was held in Rinzentangpang. They use rudimentary stoves to prepare meals. Here they are discussing what meals to serve to the monks and the general public who will come for the blessing, such as dry fish and cheeses.

This is a short video recording on elicitation of a wordlist about water bodies. The researcher was eliciting words primarily with Seher Aquil and Khalida Bano while both were sitting in the courtyard basking in the afternoon sun. After some time, other family members too come and join in. The participants spoke in the Southern Azamgarhi dialect.

Jiya describes the origins of the local deity, Mata Devi, explaining that Mata Devi is associated with Vrindavan instead of Tibet. Jiya was Mata Devi's oracle for many years. The recording was made at Jiya's home in Chhitkul village where Thola peak can be seen in the background.

Transcription, translation and linguistic analysis of Gul Nasreen reciting "Limpi Kisar," a popular story in the Hunza dialect of Burushaski. In this popular story Limpi Kisar was married to a woman, and she was stolen on their wedding day by an ogre. He travels up mountains to get his wife back. Transcription done in Burushaski with translations and analysis in English.

This is an interview about traditional health practices in the Lai community. The interviewee, born in 1969, is originally from Leitak and speaks Leitak, Lautu, Mara, Hakha, Kawl, and English. Interviews were collected as part of the Linguistically Underserved Communities and Health (LUCAH) project, which aims to make health information more accessible and culturally relevant for the Chin refugee community in order to ensure that they are getting clear and accurate information.
