The first event will be held October 19th, at the UNT Art Department to discuss practical ideas on talking with kids about art and ways of introducing art history to children, however, they will be unable to pay the teachers to attend these renewal sessions but a lunch will be provided.

An issue McCarter addresses is finding the money to pay the teachers for attending, possibly a shared cost between the district and NTIEVA, he ends the letter saying many details have to be worked out.
