Written in pen on the photograph next to a man in the top row at right is "Dr. Walter Allen." The photograph is mounted to a black board with a strip of paper at the bottom with printed text that reads: " Medical Department, Ft Worth University, first term / Jan 25, 1895 taken by Swartz View Co. Top row, far / right James Walter Allen." The black board is mounted to a white board.

Photographic postcard of three young boys outdoors. The oldest boy sits cross legged on the grass, while the middle boy stand behind him, and the youngest stands to the left of him. They all wear white shirts and dark pants. The oldest boy has dark hair, while the younger boys have blonde hair. The card has a white boarder around the photo. The back of the postcard has a green one cent stamp and is postmarked Oct 25 1909, 7:30p. There is a long handwritten message on the correspondence side from Eva.
