Postcard with five images of fire chiefs in automobiles on its front. The center image is labeled with "chief", and the surrounding images are labeled with "asst. chief." On the back of the postcard, the sender has left a handwritten message that says, "I will start with our chiefs, a very nice view card, then will go on to all of our new style Fire Department. I have ordered a lot, but they have not arrived yet. Be here in a few days. We have not any big where they could get the pictures of the departments [...]"

This official War Department document contains orders to the named officers "of the Aviation Section, Signal Reserve Corps," the names are listed on the following pages. The men are to "participate regularly and frequently in aerial flights."

Postcard from W. B. Johnston to George Pendexter mentioning a recent fire that took place by a drug store and restaurant; Johnston says this took place "across the street from the Parker fire" that he had sent a card of in the past. The photograph shows the ruins of a building in Bellevue, Michigan after having been destroyed by a fire in December 1911; the only thing left is a pile of rubble and dirt.

Letter written to Elmer Josephine Bahl from Tommie Suits in New York City. Suits describes a letter that he received from Elmer's mother and mentions that "Johnnie Lou said she got her cat." Suits talks about dancing and his trip to Washington D.C. over July 31st to August 1st and 2nd: "I had planned on getting there early Saturday and staying until late Monday."

Warranty deed prepared between George and Virginia Leigh and D. P. Slottery acknowledging the sale of land for one thousand dollars. The deed is signed at the bottom by the notary public, William D. Drown, vouching for the fact that all parties were in attendance.
