A document on the Summary, NDN Seminar Assessment held July 24 - 30, 1987. Selected art and museum educators from various parts of the nation attended a one-week training program at the California Institute of Technology. The purpose of the seminar was to provide a training program for this group of art educators who may serve as consultants to the NDN program. McCarter says that it is imperative that art teachers at both an elementary and secondary level be exposed to excellent presentations and that Georgia Blades is working with the program for Texas Art Education Fall Meeting in Fort Worth, hoping that Holland and Blades could connect for a repeat presentation to the members of TAEA. Enclosed in the letter to Holland, McCarter has sent a newsletter of the National Art Education Association, for Holland to get a feeling of strength from the teacher organization. The letter is in regards to the enclosed SERC course proposal that was written by Peter Chant, Director of Education Services, Nebraska Educational Telecommunications Commission. Brown would like to discuss this with McCarter at the meeting in Santa Barbara in January and wonders if Vicki Rosenberg will pay for an extra day to plan.
