Sediment Deposited by Finn Creek Overflow

Photograph of SCS Engineer Harry Miracle, left, and L. J. Key, farm operator, list a slab of sediment deposited during Finn Creek overflow May 10 and 11. Rain fall this area approximately 11 inches in 30 hours. Key reports 21. 2 acres of this field in 1949 produced 34 bales of cotton. Hoped to replant 1950 crop which sediment covered. Key said 100 acres of bottom were covered by sediment from 1 to 2 inches in depth.
