Monologue about the folk song Reite Penang

Sankhil Shetphong of Thamlapokpi sings and explains the meaning of the folk song Reite Penang and “Khuungpaar Laa”. The song translates as follows: Flower bloom but we don’t know when they disappear. After they bloom as they disappear from the whole mountain range. [areiyo paar re, reite penang paar ee]. This recording was made as part of Firebird Foundation for Anthropological Research project collection by Sumshot Khular.
